Protecting premises and the integrity of a customer business is always paramount. All security personnel employed by A&M Security Co are licensed by the Security Industry Authority (SIA), an independent organisation established by the British Government under the terms of the Private Security Industry Act 2001.
As part of the integral process to achieve an SIA licence, all personnel to be engaged in the security operations are required to undergo and pass a structured programme of training and education, resulting in recognised qualifications. The training programs are delivered by Skills for Security, the skills body for the private security sector.
We are assessed and certified as meeting the requirements of the BS EN ISO 9001:2008 specific to the provision of manned guarding and associated services.
Recruitment and vetting are an extremely important area of the service which we provide. The rigorous screening procedures fall in compliance within the licensing regulator (SIA) and The British Standards. Only suitable persons will be employed in positions of trust and responsibility.
We are fully committed to the provision of training under the support of The Learning Skills Council (LSC).
All aspects of our Health & Safety and Employment Law are placed with Peninsula Business Services, which is one of the countries leading consultants.
We are also an approved contractor under the SAFE Contractor Scheme. This is a unique achievement in the security industry and will place A&M Security Co at the forefront amongst its competitors for Health & Safety to existing and new customers alike.
SAFE Contractor is an accreditation scheme that assesses the Health & Safety competency of contractors.
Our 24hr Control Centre is manned by qualified, experienced personnel tasked with overseeing operations, maintaining contact with our mobile patrol teams and assignments.
Control Centre personnel co-ordinate emergency procedures and provide a communication interface between A&M Security Co, its customers and the emergency services 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.
